This year marked an exciting milestone in my artistic journey as I ventured into painting holiday-themed windows for the first time. Bringing festive cheer to businesses and homes through vibrant, hand-painted designs has been a truly rewarding and creative experience.
One of my most memorable projects was painting a cheerful winter wonderland at Andy’s Frozen Custard. I transformed their windows with a magical scene featuring snow, a Christmas tree adorned with custard-inspired decorations, and their beloved mascot, Hugh, holding a giant custard cone. The team loved it so much they even made an Instagram reel showcasing the artwork—it was such a rewarding moment to see their excitement.
Another highlight was working on a white winter scene for an Amazon fulfillment center. The evergreen trees and delicate snowflakes created a serene, wintry vibe that turned their space into a holiday wonderland.
I also had the joy of painting at Shepherd of the Hills in Branson, where I painted festive windows near the sweet shop. My friend Samantha and I worked on this project together. It’s always a treat to work alongside talented friends.
For Orchard Hills Pharmacy and Floral, I crafted a colorful, candy-themed display featuring peppermints, candy canes, and swirling snow. It was all in preparation for their Christmas open house, which was a perfect way to welcome the holiday season!
Of course, not all projects were for businesses. I loved adding a whimsical touch to a client’s home by painting adorable Christmas tree cakes, complete with their two cats perched near the garland and ornaments on the front door.
Each window tells its own story, reflecting the joy and warmth of the season. Seeing the smiles on people’s faces as they pass by or walk into these beautifully decorated spaces reminds me why I love what I do.
As I wrap up this year’s holiday windows, I can’t help but feel immense gratitude for the trust and creativity of the amazing people I’ve worked with. Whether it’s a cheerful snowman, a sparkling Christmas tree, or whimsical peppermint swirls, these designs are my way of spreading a little extra holiday magic.
