There’s something incredibly satisfying about putting the final brushstroke on a piece you’ve poured your heart into—and I just wrapped up a commission that’s been an absolute joy to paint.
This special project features a serene lake scene divided into four sections, each one capturing the mood and magic of a different season. From snow-covered banks in winter to the golden leaves of autumn, every section tells its own story—yet together, they form a beautiful, flowing whole.
Winter is quiet and peaceful, with soft snow blanketing the ground and delicate flakes drifting through the air.
Spring brings a gentle lightness— new life emerging.
Summer feels warm and vibrant, with bright skies and sparkling water.
Autumn wraps it all up with cozy golden tones, long shadows and changing leaves.
I’m truly proud of how it turned out! It was a creative challenge to blend the transitions while keeping each season distinct, and it made me fall in love with landscape painting all over again.
The person who commissioned this piece is just as excited as I am, and I can’t wait to deliver it to her soon. It’s always an honor to create something so personal and meaningful for someone’s home.
